Our associate GPs compliment the GP Partners with their own clinical interests, expanding the skill mix of the team. They work a dedicated number of sessions a work, offering continuity of care to our patients.

GP Registrars

A GP Registrar or GP trainee is a qualified doctor who is training to become a GP through a period of working and training in a practice. They  are closely supervised by a senior GP or trainer.  Dr Vijay Tailor supervises the GP Registrars at Hillcrest Surgery.

Foundation Year 2 Doctors

A Foundation Year 2 Doctor is a qualified doctor who is still undergoing training.  As part of this they work a 4 month placement in general practice.  During their time here they are closely supervised by their clinical supervisor, Dr Asad Mirza.
