**Update 5th  January 2021 **

NHS England has instructed Practices to provide the following information to patients on our website:

Dear Patients
As you will be aware, the COVID-19 rates of infection have increased to significant levels in our area.
At the same time we need to maximise our work of vaccinating patients with the COVID-19 vaccine.
We have been advised to free up time with our team to help look after patients with emergencies and protect patients with the vaccine.
If your problem is an emergency then please call 999
If you need to contact the practice with other symptoms or queries please use the eConsult found on the front page of our website.
Your online form will be reviewed by a clinician and you will be contacted back with a text.
You will either be contacted by the surgery to ask you more questions or you will receive a text on what to do next.

**From 5th January the system below is suspended**

How to Make an Appointment

Appointments may be booked in several ways:

By Phone

Patients can book an appointment by calling reception on 020 8993 0982.

By Using Econsult

Econsult is available via our website.  Patients who submit an econsults will get a response by the end of the next working day.  Econsult allows patients to submit photos along with an explanation of their problem.

Who do I see?

For information on how best to be seen at the Surgery, select the service or condition you require.

Appointment Types

We offer a range of different appointments at the surgery:

On the Day Telephone Call Back

Ring before 10.30am for a call back from the GP.  Patients who need to be seen face to face will be asked to come in but wherever possible we are dealing with patients by telephone and video consultation.

Due to the pandemic we are not offering pre-bookable GP appointments.

You are still able to book in advance with our Nurses and HCAs.

Please review our Surgery Clinics to see if the practice offers your appointment type, and duration of appointment needed (some may be unavailable depending on the pandemic and guidance issued to us by NHS England about which services are to continue.)

Early morning and weekend appointments

Not able to see the doctor outside of working hours? We offer early morning appointments here at Hillcrest Surgery and evening and weekend nurse and GP appointments at our local hub practice.

Same day emergency appointments

For urgent matters only.   Any patient calling after 10.30am will only be given a call back if clinics are not already full or it is a clinical emergency.
